If you have a problem at work your first point of contact should be your UNISON Workplace Representative.
Workplace Representatives are there to advise you on workplace issues and represent you in meetings such as grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence and capability reviews. The contact details of all your representatives are listed below, and you should contact the representative who is listed for your team, workplace or employer.
You will need to fill out a case form which is available from your Workplace Representative, or, if you do not have a representative listed, from the UNISON office by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or ringing 01934 634 759.
UNISON Workplace Representatives are all volunteers, and all have other jobs as well, so please be patient. Due to high workloads UNISON Representatives need at least 2 weeks’ notice for accompanying members to meetings.
